Position Summary
The Access & Fulfillment Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role within the analytics team, focusing on access and fulfillment metrics. This position requires expertise in designing and executing analytical frameworks to evaluate the operational performance and effectiveness of access and fulfillment initiatives within AbbVie Patient Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement analytical strategies for various segments within the Patient Access & In-Field Access & Reimbursement teams.
- Proactively identify evolving business conditions pertinent to Patient Services programs associated with hub services, insurance assistance, and prior authorization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in the Patient Services division to assess and enhance existing programs and services that facilitate access and fulfillment.
- Define and co-develop analytical use cases and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure patient support initiatives align with brand objectives for optimal assistance to patients and healthcare providers.
- Recognize and address critical business challenges related to program execution and performance, ensuring a comprehensive perspective from multiple stakeholders; integrate and synthesize all relevant information regarding the issue.
- Utilize advanced analytic models that address essential issues while meeting key business criteria (e.g., cost, risk, business impact) and technical standards (e.g., reliability, validity, predictability).
- Lead a team of analysts and external partners to enhance the application of advanced modeling and analytic techniques, delivering results that fully utilize available data and analytics.
- Establish, manage, and continuously refine various reporting levels for program and contract evaluations, as well as executive communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing data, including its application in business planning and strategy development.
- Preferred experience in people management.
- Proficiency in programming languages utilized in analytics (R, Python, SAS, or SPSS) and associated statistical modules is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Qlik/Tableau/Power BI) and database query languages (SQL/HIVE/IMPALA) is preferred.
- Strong understanding and prior experience in developing and implementing Co-Pay, HUB processes, pharmacy workflows, and specialty pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical ecosystem and datasets, including physician-level prescribing, institutional sales data, payer-prescriber-level data, formulary data, rebates, and claims.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record of effective collaboration with all corporate functions and senior management.
- Strong analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Proficient in software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
