We are seeking a knowledgeable OTC Business Analyst who will collaborate with various teams to define, document, design, implement, and support SAP ECC and related software solutions to fulfill business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a member of the OTC (Order to Cash) team, you will maintain and enhance IS Applications that support Order to Cash and related business functions.
- Establish strong relationships with business users and leadership to define processes, prioritize projects, and execute IS initiatives.
- Exhibit a proactive approach to driving projects to completion, ensuring regular communication and follow-ups with stakeholders.
- Gain a thorough understanding of Medline's business processes, mapping out workflows and identifying opportunities for enhancements.
- Work closely with the business community to gather, define, and document requirements, ensuring timely delivery of IS solutions.
- Ensure optimal system availability and respond urgently to organizational needs.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to evaluate design alternatives and deliver effective solutions while minimizing disruptions.
- Present ideas and designs to user groups and management effectively.
- Lead project delivery with minimal supervision, ensuring timely closure of initiatives.
- Communicate system issues and their implications to stakeholders in clear, non-technical language.
- Document detailed requirements, solution designs, and test plans following Medline's SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Conduct functional testing and assist in the QA review process for change approvals.
- Support the team manager in assessing enhancement requests, estimating efforts, and developing project plans with timelines.
- Plan and conduct knowledge transfer activities for newly implemented functionalities.
- Actively monitor and enhance our OTC System Landscape, including SAP ECC, Vistex, Tableau, SQL Composite Queries, and other tools.
- Provide after-hours support as needed, participating in the on-call rotation.
- Keep management and team members informed of status changes as necessary.
- Exercise good judgment in determining when communication is essential.
- Support team members in their responsibilities and share knowledge openly.
- Ensure coverage of your areas of expertise during absences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP SD configuration and processes, including integration with other systems.
- Highly motivated and reliable, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Proven ability to analyze and implement SAP solutions.
- Strong knowledge of order processing, delivery logistics, billing, pricing, and related functions.
- Experience with web-based ordering systems and SAP-based integrations is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business processes into technical requirements.
- Ability to assess the impact of processes across multiple functional areas.
- Familiarity with SQL Querying, HANA Studio, and Tableau is advantageous.
- Experience in suggesting improvements to business and IS processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and capable of learning proprietary Medline tools.
- Ability to collaborate with off-site team members in a matrix environment is essential.
