Job Summary:
As a Chef De Cuisine at Davidson Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team in menu development and execution. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and concepts that meet the high standards of Davidson Hospitality Group.
- Culinary Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food quality and safety standards are met at all times.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our vendors to ensure that we are getting the best quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Compliance: Ensure that our kitchen is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Culinary Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients, with the ability to develop and implement new menu items.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
