As an Executive Sous Chef at Davidson Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team in menu development and execution. This is a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety in our kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the culinary team in menu development and execution, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Oversee food quality and safety standards, ensuring that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to maintain the highest standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are sourced and stored efficiently.
- Train and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience, working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
- Assist the Executive Chef in overall kitchen operations, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role in a hospitality or culinary environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards, with the ability to maintain and improve these standards in the kitchen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
