Key Responsibilities
Internal Corporate Communications
- Assist in developing communication strategies to enhance employee engagement, awareness, and productivity, facilitating regular outreach across various locations.
- Support a culture of employee ownership through targeted communication campaigns.
- Design and distribute printed materials for internal communications.
- Create, edit, and disseminate electronic communications via email, newsletters, and company portals.
- Contribute to the development and writing of articles for internal distribution.
- Utilize graphic design techniques to enhance the company brand.
- Manage and order internal promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Employee Experience, Operations, and Human Resources on employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Evaluate and present the outcomes of communication efforts through surveys and audits.
- Assist in managing and designing internal communication portals.
- Support the planning and execution of corporate events.
External Communications
- Assist in crafting press releases and articles for external audiences.
- Support marketing sponsorship opportunities.
- Engage in community outreach as necessary.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts as needed.
Multimedia Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website.
- Manage and schedule content for AVIAN's social media platforms.
- Oversee updates for video communication sites.
- Support the design and development of advertising and trade show materials.
Special Events and Community Engagement
- Coordinate with the Vice President of Employee Experience to manage AVIAN's donations and sponsorship programs.
- Collaborate on internal events and team-building activities.
- Assist with wellness events as required.
- Support the planning and execution of corporate team-building events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in commercial software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong writing skills, including proficiency in AP style.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a Communications-related field, or an Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience.
