Job Description:The Corporate IT Support Specialist will provide internal IT support for employees which may include desktop support and setup, hardware/software troubleshooting, help desk ticket processing and other duties as assigned. Candidate should have a mix of technical and customer service skills as well as be passionate about technology.
Essential Functions:
- Working with users of varying skill levels to resolve technical issues both remotely and in person
- Managing inventory of IT assets
- Machine imaging
- Shipping and handling of IT assets
- Configuring servers and workstations
- Managing OS and application updates on servers and workstations
- User, computer, and permissions management in AD and Azure/365
- Properly configuring and managing network ACLs on hosts and network devices
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- Proficient with Windows 10
- Familiar with Windows Server 2016/2019
- Experience with Cisco Networking (Catalyst L2,L3)
- Able to document fixes and new solutions effectively
- Knowledgeable with modern cybersecurity threats and solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move/relocate furniture, computer hardware and other related office items
Desired:
- Security+ Certification
- Microsoft 365, Office 365/Azure administration experience
- Familiar with PowerShell
- Vulnerability scanning and reporting
- Familiar with Linux (Debian, Centos)
- Git experience
- Graylog use and administration
- Compliance standards including NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and CMMC
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
BS/BA OR AA/AS degree and 1-year related experience OR High School and 2 years related experience.
