Field Support Specialist

Join Teksky as a Field Support Specialist. We are seeking a proactive team member to lead customer-facing technical assistance and help expand our presence in semiconductor fabrication facilities globally. This role blends responsibilities of a sales engineer, product innovator, and field support technician. It involves both pre-sales and post-sales tasks, from understanding client requirements and defining new solutions to hands-on activities such as equipment setup and assessments. Additionally, as we enhance our technical training offerings, you will significantly contribute to the training department by assisting in content development.

Working under the supervision of the Director of Applications Engineering and Technical Support, you will drive engineering initiatives, foster strong customer relationships, and improve technical interactions. This position is crucial for advancing projects within fabrication facilities and actively participating in the creation of technical marketing and engineering documentation, including white papers, technical sales presentations, installation guidelines, application notes, and 8D reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Serve as the technical liaison between Teksky and clients.

Product Support: Provide support for Teksky's product line at designated facilities, including installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and general customer assistance.

Technical Demonstrations: Collaborate with the sales team to deliver engaging technical presentations to potential clients.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP), guiding them through development to ensure success.

Testing and Evaluations: Manage beta testing and customer product evaluations, ensuring successful outcomes.

Data Analysis: Gather product field performance data to support sales, product enhancement, and marketing strategies.

Training Development: Partner with the training department to create and deliver various training modules for clients.

Global Outreach: Occasionally travel to support various activities and clients worldwide.

Qualifications:

Education: A.S. or B.S. in engineering or a related technical discipline.

Experience: 7+ years in semiconductor equipment, either in customer support or as a fabrication engineer.

Expertise: Solid understanding of wafer handling robotics, with hands-on experience in LAM, TEL, or AMAT preferred.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Relationship Management: Ability to independently build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
