Data Scientist for Maternal Health Research

Job Summary: As a Prenatal Screening Data Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the California Department of Public Health's prenatal screening program by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing reports to inform program decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using SAS and SQL to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain complex descriptive data reports using advanced data visualization techniques.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong training in statistical methods and epidemiological study design.
- Experience with clinical or public health investigation, program evaluation, disease screening, and/or disease surveillance data collection.
