We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Estates Maintenance team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a proactive part in maintaining our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnosis to identify and resolve issues
  • Advise on matters relating to Estates maintenance and provide guidance to colleagues
  • Plan, diagnose, and repair faults on engineering plant as directed
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of Trust assets and expediting efficient use of assets to support clinical activity
  • Be aware of financial impact from own work and help maintain a balanced position, ensuring cost-effective services are planned and organised
  • Support team development through mentoring and shadowing
  • Maintain accurate records for reactive and planned activities

Requirements

  • Appropriate City and Guilds qualification or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Served an apprenticeship or other recognised training
  • Good understanding of electrical maintenance and installation
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Flexible approach
  • Good communication - written and oral
  • Customer focused
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours as required by the needs of service
