Job Description

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for creating a comfortable and welcoming environment? Do you have a knack for fixing things and ensuring residents' needs are met promptly? If so, we're seeking a dedicated and reliable individual like you to join our team as a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair problems in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.), fitness equipment, and waste management systems.
  • Collaborate with property management and fellow maintenance team members to coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and unit turns.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and promptly address them. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any concerns to Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their maintenance needs with a friendly and approachable attitude. Be a responsive and reliable point of contact for all maintenance inquiries.
  • Maintain community by promptly removing trash, debris, and recycling materials from designated areas. Ensure all waste is properly disposed of in accordance with recycling and environmental guidelines.
  • Address maintenance requests from residents promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of staff work and preventive maintenance schedules, daily rounds, as well as maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for providing the appropriate level of service.

Compensation:

  • $24 - $26 / hour
  • With an annual bonus that is tied to performance
  • Fully comped onsite unit - 1 bedroom

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of maintenance/facilities experience in multi-unit residential housing or in hospitality
  • Ability to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed, can lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for an 8-hour shift
  • HVAC certification
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, fitness equipment, waste management systems
