Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure Modeling, Analytics, and Planning (WI-MAP) Team as a Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing technical components of water industry projects, providing support to regional teams with marketing and business development, participating in industry activities and events, and developing their career as part of a growing national resource team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute technical components of water industry projects, including hydraulic modeling, master planning, and water quality evaluations.
  • Provide support to regional teams with marketing and business development, including client-specific presentations and proposal development efforts.
  • Participate in industry activities and events, including committees and conferences.
  • Develop and execute Project Management Plans and Quality Control Plans.
  • Conduct written and oral project reporting for project managers, regional team client service managers, and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or ability to become registered within six months of start of employment.
  • Strong technical background in hydraulics and experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software, such as Bentley WaterGEMS or Innovyze InfoWater.
  • Experience with one or more of the main categories of work for the group, including water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water supply and integrated master planning.
