Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to design land development projects for residential, commercial, and municipal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design land development projects, including roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Prepare traffic, drainage, and utility reports, as well as supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting in various jurisdictions.
  • Develop construction cost models and engineer's opinion of probable cost for projects through various stages of development.
  • Work within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters, and communicate effectively with directors, project managers, and project teams.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines and clients, and coordinate with other locations as necessary.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Minimum of EI certification, PE license preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and successful passing of the Company's MVR check.
  • Experience working with private and municipal clients preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D and ability to write reports, specifications, and perform design in Civil 3D.
What We Offer

Matrix Design Group offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $105,000 annually, dependent on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as holiday, vacation, and sick leave, training and education, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
