Responsibilities:
The Appointment Coordinator plays a vital role within the HarmonyCares Medical Group, executing essential scheduling operations, policies, and procedures.

This position collaborates with local and regional leadership, medical assistants, patient care coordinators, providers, patients, and other supportive roles within the HarmonyCares Medical Group to prioritize patient visits, adhere to provider contact hours, and manage overall patient census.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain provider schedules to align with patient needs

- Manage provider census through proactive risk management

- Collaborate with local leadership to optimize the scheduling system and ensure effective communication of patient requests

- Foster relationships and communicate HarmonyCares services effectively with patients and their families

- Handle phone communications to facilitate efficient scheduling

- Address scheduling concerns and issues, both internally and externally

- Uphold patient confidentiality policies and procedures

- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions

- Collaborate with managers, team members, and other HarmonyCares staff

- Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

- High School Diploma/GED

- Exceptional customer service skills with 1-2 years of experience

- Understanding of practice protocols to assist in patient scheduling

- Ability to maintain departmental quality and control standards

- Proficient computer skills and capacity to learn new systems

- Adaptability in applying guidelines and procedures

- Ability to communicate empathetically, compassionately, and professionally at all times

- Problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions promptly

- Teamwork skills and the ability to maintain relationships with patients, caregivers, and colleagues

- Critical thinking skills to balance scheduling protocols with market needs to enhance patient access

- Capacity to work at a computer screen for extended periods.

Posted Max Pay Rate:
USD $25.55/Hr.

Posted Min Pay Rate:
USD $23.00/Hr.
