Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Representative at PRISM Vision Group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments for new patients, routine visits, and follow-ups with the appropriate physician, and complete the new patient consultation form in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Appointment Preparation: Schedule all patient appointments and prepare appropriate chart paperwork, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Explain what patients can expect when they arrive for their appointment, and transfer calls to the appropriate physician and staff when necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating, and providing information, and resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Message Processing: Ensure that all messages are complete, concise, and processed immediately or routed to the appropriate office/person.
  • Patient Onboarding: Email, recommend web access, and mail all new patients a packet, which includes patient information, a health questionnaire, directions to the facility, and HIPAA forms.
  • Referral Verification: Verify that all patients requiring referral have obtained the necessary referrals for visit and diagnostic testing.
  • Administrative Support: Photocopy, fax, and email documents as requested in a timely manner, and assist patients, physicians, and office managers as needed.
