Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting via phone and email
  • Analyze malfunctioning measurement systems and determine corrective action, replace faulty components, and make necessary adjustments and alignments
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on job activities
  • Participate in on-the-job training of field service personnel
  • Suggest methods to improve equipment performance and functionality
  • Stay up-to-date on new products and product changes within the required sphere of activity
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor
  • Travel to customer locations as needed
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to written procedures
Requirements
  • AA degree or technical education in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, and repair complex equipment problems
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Familiarity with standard tools and electronic test equipment
  • Familiarity with personal computers
  • Ability to travel by air and car as needed
