Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Nurse to join our team at Fortrea. As a leading global contract research organization, we provide pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers with a wide range of clinical development, patient access, and technology solutions across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and respond to emergency situations based on nursing standards.
  • Utilize nursing assessment skills to observe participant general well-being and potential adverse events.
  • Document adverse events and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Obtain informed consent and continue the informed consent process by educating, explaining, and informing participants of study procedures.
  • Administer investigational compounds to participants according to the protocol and applicable regulations.
  • Perform study-related activities such as cannulation, telemetry, holters, vital signs, ECGs, and venipuncture.
  • Undertake any other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Associate degree/BS in nursing with current licensure in the applicable state.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • ACLS certified.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous research nurse experience is ideal, but not required.
  • Recent graduates or those with recent nursing experience are encouraged to apply.

We also utilize technology-based systems to collect data, so proficiency in electronic data collection is essential.
