Job Summary

The Center for Orthopedic and Research E seeks a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits by rooming them, obtaining and documenting vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, and pulling up radiology images.
  • Maintain exam room standards and assist providers with preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical and patient forms.
  • Scan clinical documents into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and print clinic schedules on the morning of the date of service.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare field, patient care, and back office skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and medical records procedures.
