We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Research Unit at University Hospital. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adults participating in research studies across multiple disciplines, including hematology/oncology, Alzheimer's disease, pulmonary, endocrine/metabolic, and infectious disease.
- Administer chemotherapy and novel treatments to patients, obtain vitals, perform venipuncture, and process lab samples.
- Assist with research study protocol implementation and become a member of the Clinical Research Unit Council.
- Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities within the unit.
- ~6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience
- ~Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred
- Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work preferred
- Experience in an academic medical setting preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations
