Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at Marquette University College of Nursing. The successful candidate will participate in an advanced research training program focused on pediatric mobility and rehabilitation research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete didactic requirements, including courses, workshops, and seminars in evidence-based research, biostatistics, outcomes assessment, scientific writing, and grantsmanship.
  • Conduct directed independent research in applications of human mobility.
  • Participate in collegial and collaborative activities, including presenting research at national meetings and submitting manuscripts for peer review.
Requirements:
  • Earned doctorate or terminal degree in engineering, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.
  • Strong interest in research and rehabilitation, with a focus on human mobility.
  • Previous experience in biomedical/rehabilitation engineering, biomechanics, human movement sciences, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a doctoral program in engineering, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.
  • Evidence of a strong research background, including published abstracts and national-level presentations.
  • Rehabilitation research experience in applications of human mobility, including gait, tissue biomechanics, and computational modeling.
