Job Summary

We are seeking a Health Educator - Tobacco Prevention Specialist to join our team in Washington County, PA. As a key member of our community health team, you will work with diverse individual and institutional constituencies to promote tobacco education, awareness, and cessation in the Southwest Region of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tobacco education programs for communities, local organizations, schools, and other institutions.
  • Provide education, tools, and cessation services to support individuals in living healthier lives.
  • Mobilize youth to advocate for policy change and enact tobacco and nicotine-free policies.
  • Plan educational sessions and community events to promote healthy behaviors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, health education, or a related field.
  • Two years' experience working in community health or a related setting.
  • Strong verbal and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work with diverse individual and institutional constituencies.
  • Commitment to being smoke-free.
  • Travel required.
