Job Summary

The Director of International Enrollment and Partnerships will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive international recruitment strategy to meet the institution's enrollment goals. This includes creating and managing partnerships with international higher education institutions and organizations, as well as building relationships with international student advisors at high schools and community colleges.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement a robust international recruitment strategy to meet the institution's enrollment goals, utilizing internal and external data sources and leveraging the University's programmatic strengths.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with international higher education institutions and organizations to increase brand awareness and enrollment.
  • Agency Management: Vet and develop relationships with agencies in selected regions, manage agency contracts and fees, and leverage the University's academic community and campus partners to further increase brand awareness and new international student enrollment.
  • Immigration and Compliance: Keep the enrollment team and key stakeholders abreast on matters related to immigration, SEVIS requirements, rules and regulations, English proficiency standards, international transcript evaluation, international student mobility, and programmatic trends.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including lead generation vendors, memberships, and budget.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in the daily operations of the admissions office, application review, and in recruitment and yield events, including open houses and admitted student days.
  • Departmental Goals: Establish and monitor departmental goals, objectives, and ad hoc projects, and prepare annual reporting of goals.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in international recruitment/enrollment, international student services, international academic program development/oversight, international partnerships, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEVIS and previous work as a Designated School Official required. Knowledge of Banner and Slate helpful.
  • This position may require staff supervision.
