This role is essential in delivering exceptional service to our members at the designated branch. As a Member Service Representative, you will be at the forefront of member interactions, ensuring that each experience aligns with the core values of Alabama Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate account openings and assist members with essential financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, credit card payments, and balance transfers.
  • Process orders for debit cards and checks, while providing comprehensive information about our products and services to meet member needs.
  • Maintain a high standard of service, contributing to a positive atmosphere for both members and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures for account management.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on describing and promoting products and services.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • A genuine desire to assist others in achieving their financial goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least six months of experience in a teller or member service capacity within a financial institution.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
