Helpdesk Support Technician

Selectek is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support Technician to join their team. This role will provide technical support to users and assist with PC builds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate technical support to end users.
  • Build and configure WIN10 computers according to company guidelines.
  • Install and verify software for project teams.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain printers, copiers, and other technology devices.
  • Sanitize returned computers and update computer information in active directory and IT inventory system.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk capacity in a Microsoft domain environment.
  • Experience with WIN10 and Active Directory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
Work Environment:
  • Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm, no flex time.
  • No work from home or remote options.
  • Minimum overtime: occasionally an hour or two.
  • No travel required.
  • Business casual work attire.
Benefits:
  • $25/hour - $30/hour ($52,000 - $63,000 annual salary).
  • 6-month temp to perm assignment.
  • Yes, a background check and drug test are required.
