Key Responsibilities- Assist in hiring and training staff to ensure a high-performing team
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through effective conflict resolution and complaint management

- Communicate with HR and accounting teams regarding invoicing and payroll
- Double-check all orders for accuracy and quality
- Knowledge of the menu and table numbers to provide excellent customer service
- Collect payments and issue refunds, price adjustments, and manage cash handling
- Proficiency in Toast POS and OpenTable systems
- Strong communication and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Customer satisfaction-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manage menus in-house and through third-party delivery apps
- Oversee scheduling, adjust schedules as needed, and manage employee time-off
- Discipline and terminate employees in accordance with restaurant policy
- Perform daily health inspections and oversee food handling and preparation
- Conduct regular quality control checks on food and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Manage liquor, beer, and wine inventory and work with the BOH team for food and supply purchases
- Manage swag inventory and communicate order needs with the brand manager
- Conduct daily checks of the restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Schedule routine maintenance and service on equipment and call in repairs as needed
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and conflict resolution
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills to identify and analyze problems and offer solutions
- Responds well to feedback and constructive criticism
- Able to professionally communicate information to others and actively listen
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and maneuver trays of food when necessary

The Assistant General Manager will be required to communicate effectively with customers, management, and other coworkers, both individually and in groups. Regular use of the telephone for communication is essential. The ability to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 10 hours or as needed is crucial. The work environment is high-energy, with potential allergens present, including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.
