Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our finance team at RICH TRANSPORT LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing full cycle month-end financial activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute the full cycle month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards (ASC 842), including tracking, recording, and reporting lease agreements.
  • Record, track, and reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required to support various business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or auditing, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in lease accounting (ASC 842).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
