Job Description

At Aware Recovery Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Recovery Advisor to join our team. As a Client Recovery Advisor, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting clients through our intensive In-Home Addiction Treatment program. This program provides a comprehensive and personalized approach to recovery, empowering clients to achieve sustained, long-term recovery and reach their subjective goals.

As a Client Recovery Advisor, you will work closely with clients in their home environment, providing support and guidance through face-to-face appointments and telephonic interactions. You will also collaborate with our Addiction Treatment team to coordinate customized client care and manage a caseload of clients. Your personal experience with addiction and recovery will be invaluable in providing guidance and support to clients.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-$24 per hour, based on experience, education, and qualifications. Responsibilities
  • Deliver our 52-week In-Home Addiction Treatment program within the client's home environment.
  • Drive to and meet clients in their home environment, transporting them to ARC-related appointments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Addiction Treatment team to coordinate customized client care.
  • Manage a caseload of clients and schedule appointments.
  • Offer support through face-to-face appointments and telephonic interactions.
  • Submit timely clinical documentation in our Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Meet clients where they are and work across departments for holistic client support.
  • Offer personal experience and guidance through early and continued recovery.
  • Participate in Case Review, supervision, and continuing education.
  • Mentor and shadow new employees.
  • Be open and flexible to working nights and weekends, if required.
Requirements
  • 2 years of lived continuous recovery experience from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones preferred.
  • Certifications such as Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counselor (DARC), Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), and/or any other applicable trainings/certifications related to addiction treatment are a plus.
  • Proof of auto insurance is required.
  • HS diploma or GED required.
