Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and manage multiple technical tasks in software design, implementation, and integration projects.
  • Software Analysis: Analyze customer needs and design, develop, and install software systems to meet those needs.
  • Software Upgrades: Recommend software upgrades to existing systems and/or present newly available options which may better meet the customer's needs.
  • Process Development: Develop repeatable processes.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate through verbal and written means with team members and customer.
  • Software Expansion: Expand existing software to meet changing needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, research, and present new solutions to old problems as technology and opportunity arise.
  • Software Development: Develop a new software product from the ground up, while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Create fault-tolerant programming and a thorough QC process.
  • Testing: Write tests for both existing and newly created code to ensure compatibility and stability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in either Information Technology or software engineering.
  • Experience: 8yrs software development or programming experience in full stack development (Golang, Python, C++, JavaScript, Java and other languages).
  • Skills: Ability to code microservices and APIs to connect front and back end services, experience with PKI for authentication and authorization, in-depth understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and CMSs, SQL and Postgre knowledge, experience with Windows and Linux servers hosted on VMWare ESXi hypervisor and cloud infrastructures, familiar with GITHUB and GITLAB, basic Knowledge of computer networking, data analysis (modeling, visualization, processing) and high-performance computing.
  • Clearance: Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly, or ability to obtain poly prior to start date.

  • Specialization: Specialization in firmware and graphical user design.
