- Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Train other team members in the use of cannabis-based medicines, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Maintain an organized workflow, verifying preparation and labeling of medications, order entries, and charges.
- Comply with all state laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Participate in recordkeeping and reporting necessary for State Compliance, maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to custodial procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Work on company initiatives to achieve set goals and performance indicators, driving business success.
- Educate patients on the proper use and storage of medical cannabis medications, promoting patient safety.
- Assist patients in determining the best treatment course under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and in conjunction with a provider's recommendation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, potential patients, caregivers, and providers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cash register and accountability for assigned drawer, ensuring accurate financial management.
- Complete opening/closing procedures as assigned, maintaining a smooth operational flow.
- Utilize computer systems and programs appropriately for daily operations, such as patient communication, refill orders, making appointments, and home deliveries.
- Assist with incoming orders, shipments, and deliveries of supplies, ensuring timely receipt of necessary materials.
- Attend staff meetings, continuing education, as directed, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Maintain and safeguard entrusted confidential information, upholding company confidentiality.
- Work with the eCommerce platform to review and approve online orders and patient accounts, ensuring seamless online experiences.
- Assist patients in utilizing the eCommerce platform to obtain medical cannabis medications, promoting online convenience.
- Communicate with patients and home delivery team to ensure medication orders are delivered to patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Respond to all patient communication in both dispensary and home delivery environments, providing timely support.
- Responsible for properly plotting and adjusting delivery routes using our navigational software, optimizing delivery efficiency.
- Responsible for downloading and monitoring surveillance footage from Home Delivery vehicle cameras in conjunction with home delivery manager, ensuring safety and security.
Job Qualifications:
- A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office required.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable to change in the work environment.
