Patient Care Coordinator Part-Time Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Vireo Health, Inc. This individual will work alongside a healthcare team in a retail cannabis dispensary environment, providing exceptional customer service to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient information, ensuring medication safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Assist customers with dispensation process, preparing and finalizing medication as required by law.
  • Complete operational tasks, including verifying preparation, labeling, and order entries, while maintaining an organized workflow.
  • Utilize computer systems for daily operations, such as patient communication, refill orders, and home deliveries, ensuring accurate input of patient and provider demographic information.
  • Maintain cash register and accountability for assigned drawer, completing opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Comply with state law and regulations, providing oversight for overall dispensary compliance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Participate in recordkeeping and reporting necessary for State Compliance.
  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education, and adhere to infection-control standards.
  • Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process, educating them on proper use and storage of medical cannabis medications.
  • Follow the Green Goods customer service model and work with supervisors to set and accomplish goals.
  • Respond to patient communication platforms and troubleshoot to solve patient issues regarding cannabis product usage.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Flexible availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
