Job Overview:

In the role of Paving Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing and supervising paving initiatives from start to finish. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and the highest quality benchmarks. Your technical knowledge and project oversight abilities will be vital in liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate comprehensive project plans, detailing schedules, financials, and resource distribution.
  • Oversee and manage project operations, ensuring alignment with specifications, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations and track progress to guarantee compliance with project timelines.
  • Draft and assess project-related documentation, including contracts, amendments, and status reports.
  • Engage with clients, subcontractors, and team members to address challenges and secure project success.
  • Offer technical assistance and direction to the project team.
  • Track project expenditures and implement cost-reduction strategies when feasible.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, ideally within the paving sector.
  • Familiarity with local contractors and businesses is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and B2W software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability as a self-starter, able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past five years.
  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED, along with graduation from a recognized technical trade school.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Concrete 1&2, SWPPP, and MOT.
