Position Type: Onsite, Monday to Friday


This role entails the management and coordination of diverse initiatives associated with the development, production, and distribution of firearms. The individual in this position will be tasked with orchestrating project timelines, overseeing budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and successfully delivering new product initiatives. The Program Coordinator's primary objective is to facilitate program success by aligning team efforts and eliminating obstacles.

The Program Coordinator is vital in ensuring that projects are in sync with organizational objectives, uphold quality benchmarks, and are completed within the allocated timeframe and budget.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the Product Development Process, from initial concept to market launch.
  • Present project updates, risks, and key metrics to executive leadership, ensuring high visibility of project status.
  • Manage diverse teams, including Design, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Compliance, Quality, and Purchasing.
  • Guide projects through their development journey, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, risk assessments, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure effective communication by regularly updating stakeholders on project progress.
  • Organize project meetings, document key decisions, and track action items diligently.
  • Promote collaboration among project teams, the business, and other stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback early in the development and quality planning phases.
  • Establish effective communication channels to provide accurate information to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate a variety of cross-functional resources towards successful project outcomes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure their input shapes products and processes that address business needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights for project prioritization based on ongoing and past projects.
  • Conduct research as necessary.
  • Participate in trade shows and events as required.
  • Safeguard the organization’s interests by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adhere to all applicable ISO standards.
  • Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment as directed.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of firearms safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workstation and department area.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Foster a positive attitude towards colleagues and the organization.
  • Uphold respect, courtesy, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Actively engage in the 5S process within the work area.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related scientific field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • PMP Certification or other PMI certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and critical chain analysis.
  • Experience with ProChain scheduling methodology.
  • Expertise in managing project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
  • Experience leading complex projects and coordinating multiple teams for concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of R&D, product development, requirements gathering, and risk management activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to adapt communication styles for various audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience in negotiation, change management, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience as a Subject Matter Expert in internal and external audits.
