Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Strategist

About the Role
AGCO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data and artificial intelligence transformation efforts. As Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our data strategy, leveraging advanced technologies such as machine learning and AI to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with AGCO's business objectives
- Lead the delivery of lights-out automation for 500 identified processes, leveraging process mining tools and capability-based taxonomy frameworks
- Deploy RPA tools to build bots that augment our team members and enable them to focus on high-value tasks
- Establish and oversee data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and protection of privacy
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and experimentation with data and AI within AGCO
- Implement measures to ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources and databases
- Establish industry standard SLAs and ensure the Data & AI operations are meeting the SLAs
- Identify opportunities to leverage data to support business objectives and drive value with modern technologies for data warehouse/lakehouse
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
- Spearhead a multidisciplinary team for enterprise-wide AI, aligning AI strategies with business objectives and delivering state-of-the-art machine learning models
- Oversee the ethical design, development, and implementation of AI models and algorithms
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to connect emerging capabilities to complex business problems
- Lead/influence a team of techno-functional process experts, architects, technologists, developers, managers, and AI specialists to deliver on strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; Master's in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or agricultural industry
- Excellent technical, leadership, and team management skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of programming languages, RPA tools, cloud, data migration, ETL tools, process mining, AI, machine learning models, GenAI, and data analytics
- Extensive experience in data governance, data management, and ensuring data quality
- Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance
