About the Role

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Survey & SUE Team at our office in Duluth, GA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead field crews through assigned survey tasks, utilizing thorough surveying knowledge and expertise.
  • Implement and adhere to prescribed quality assurance measures, ensuring accurate and precise work.
  • Provide professional representation to clients while working at project sites, promoting a positive company image.
  • Perform record research, construction stakeout, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS.
  • Conduct field calculations pertaining to traversing, map interpretation, layout, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma required, A.A.S. and/or B.S. degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of related experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a good knowledge about the surveying industry.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate surveying projects.
  • Ability and desire to meet client-driven schedules.
  • Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions.
  • Short-term travel required, valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions required.
