Survey Crew Chief

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Survey & SUE Team at our office in Duluth, GA.
Key Responsibilities- Lead field crews through assigned survey tasks, utilizing thorough surveying knowledge and expertise.
- Implement and adhere to prescribed quality assurance measures, ensuring accurate and precise work.
- Provide professional representation to clients while working at project sites, promoting a positive company image.
- Perform record research, construction stakeout, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS.
- Conduct field calculations pertaining to traversing, map interpretation, layout, and other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma required, A.A.S. and/or B.S. degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates a good knowledge about the surveying industry.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate surveying projects.
- Ability and desire to meet client-driven schedules.
- Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions.
- Short-term travel required, valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions required.
