Job Title: Administrative Assistant I

Under the direction of the business manager, or other assigned manager, this role provides secretarial and administrative support to the Catholic Cemeteries - All Faiths Office. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, with a strong commitment to the mission of fostering lay leadership in the Catholic Church.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the business manager and other assigned managers
  • Assist with record keeping and communication to parish and families
  • Help maintain schedules and notifications for All Faiths Cemetery events
  • Provide support to All Faiths Cemetery personnel as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • A working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to, the mission of fostering lay leadership in the Catholic Church
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent human relations interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in computer technology to include word-processing, spreadsheets, power point, web-based data entry, and internet research
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
