We are currently seeking a Client Service Associate (Teller) who will deliver outstanding customer service to our clients at our banking center. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive banking services by accurately processing all financial transactions promptly within authorized limits, while maintaining a commendable balancing record.
  • Leverage knowledge of available banking products and services to enhance and expand client relationships.
  • Recognize and fulfill clients' needs by offering a range of services, which may include issuing checks, conducting account maintenance, processing money transfers, and accepting loan payments.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience while identifying banking products or service needs to create suitable referral opportunities.
  • Investigate, identify, and optimize cross-selling of banking products based on clients' requirements.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with laws, regulations, and banking policies and procedures.
  • Address client concerns through direct personal action or by referring to alternative banking resources.
  • Adhere to the bank's security protocols while ensuring the confidentiality of banking records and client information.
  • Meet regularly with the Branch Service Manager and/or Branch Manager to discuss progress towards individual and branch goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking, cashiering, balancing, customer service, or a related field.
  • Prior Teller experience is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of mathematics, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, and banking products.
  • Demonstrated balancing and customer service skills.
  • Experience in cash handling, customer service, and/or sales is preferred.
  • Experience in meeting sales goals and/or referral goals is advantageous.
  • Ability to cross-sell banking products based on client needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Work hours are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • This is a full-time position: 40 hours per week. Flexibility within the stated hours is required.
