About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Care Representative to join our Group Benefits team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, answering their questions, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate claims according to best practices and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Promote digital self-service capabilities to enhance customer experience.
  • Utilize multiple computer applications to accurately document claim information.
  • Ensure a dedicated workspace free from distractions during work hours.

Requirements
  • A demonstrated background in customer service, call center, insurance, retail, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment while navigating multiple programs.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with customers and colleagues.
  • Adaptability.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Spanish bilingual a plus.
  • Internet requirements: high-speed broadband internet service, minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/100 Mbps.

Compensation

The annualized base pay range for this role is: $40,685 - $61,027. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
