Position Overview

Vayu Aerospace is on the lookout for a dedicated and driven Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team in promoting our innovative drone solutions. This role involves engaging with potential clients through various outreach methods, including direct communication, networking opportunities, and participation in industry events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our advanced drone technologies and the diverse services we offer.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling and in-person visits.
  • Establish and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline to track progress and opportunities.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Foster and nurture existing client relationships to secure repeat business.
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets consistently.
  • Timely reporting and submission of necessary documentation is essential.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Solid foundation in business principles and practices.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth year-over-year.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-motivated approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Assertive and confident in engaging potential clients through cold outreach.
  • Excellent listening skills to understand client needs effectively.
  • Ability to analyze customer trends and behaviors, with strong research capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing client interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals successfully.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle are necessary.
Preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Aerospace sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience in sales within the public or governmental sector is advantageous.
  • A degree related to sales or business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Communications) is a plus but not mandatory.
