JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this capacity, you will deliver technical support to end-users across various client settings, focusing on user management, Office 365 application assistance, software and hardware troubleshooting, remote access, server maintenance, and network support. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a wide range of tools and technologies.
Essential Qualifications for the IT Support Desk Specialist:
- Experience in a Help Desk or technical support position utilizing ticketing systems and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Office 365 Administration Portal, Active Directory management, and ticketing or remote monitoring management tools like ConnectWise.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VLANs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Proficient in providing end-user assistance via phone and remote management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications for the IT Support Desk Specialist:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco.
- Experience with Managed Services Providers (MSPs).
- Familiarity with tools such as ConnectWise, IT Glue, SolarWinds, WatchGuard, and various networking products.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPN, Citrix, and VoIP technologies.
