We are in search of a dynamic and proactive Recruiter to enhance our talent acquisition team. The Recruiter will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting exceptional talent across various regions through community engagement, networking, and local recruitment initiatives. A solid understanding of regional employment landscapes is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing:

  • Actively source candidates through multiple channels, including job fairs, community events, networking opportunities, social media, and local partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for current and future job openings.

Recruitment and Screening:

  • Conduct preliminary interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural compatibility.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend hiring requirements and job specifications.
  • Assess applicants' resumes and application forms to determine their alignment with job criteria.

Community Engagement:

  • Forge and sustain relationships with local educational institutions, universities, community organizations, and employment agencies to source candidates.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with local workforce development programs to identify potential talent.

Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Provide timely communication and constructive feedback to candidates.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and current records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Deliver regular reports and updates to the recruitment team and hiring managers.

Travel:

  • Participate in regional recruitment events as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, particularly in field or regional recruiting roles.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to build relationships and network effectively within communities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to evolving recruitment needs.
