Long Beach, California, United States Relativity Space Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer to join our team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our Integrated Performance team, you will be responsible for developing control and guidance solutions for our Terran R launch vehicle.

Your primary focus will be on assessing the impact of designs on vehicle controllability and performance, working closely with the flight software team to implement control algorithms and navigation solutions, and making recommendations for changing vehicle configuration to meet controllability and performance goals.

You will also support ground and flight tests for the Terran R launch vehicle, ensuring that our products work seamlessly across all systems and disciplines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be someone who thrives in ambiguity and is able to lead their own projects into completion. Ideally, you have come from a fast-paced, aerospace environment, having completed difficult projects while collaborating effectively with other key groups.

You should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or a related discipline, with experience in C++ or Python. A graduate degree in engineering or a related discipline is a plus, as is prior work in a startup or agile development environment.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about shaping the future of aerospace technology and additive manufacturing, and who is committed to transparency and fairness in their work.

What We Offer

At Relativity Space, we offer a competitive salary and equity package, a generous PTO and sick leave policy, parental leave, an annual learning and development stipend, and more. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
