The position of Commercial Analyst within the Asia Pacific Gas Supply & Trading (GSAT) division focuses on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). This role involves conducting comprehensive market and fundamental analyses to maintain an informed market perspective. Utilizing various data sources, tools, and models, the analyst will effectively communicate insights to support decision-making and identify new trading opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market fundamentals, pricing structures, trade flows, and competitor production profiles to enhance trading strategies.
- Model deal economics to evaluate feasible alternatives and their trade-offs.
- Develop and maintain analytical models and tools to forecast and monitor market drivers such as infrastructure and supply/demand dynamics.
- Present data insights and conclusions to trading teams and analysts to assist in formulating market perspectives.
- Collaborate with other trading teams to share insights, develop short-term market views, and identify additional opportunities.
- Build a network of contacts to enhance market intelligence and leverage data sources for improved analysis.
- Participate in or lead commercial projects as necessary.
- Engage in global and regional digital analytics initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector, trading, or market data analytics.
- Proven experience in analyzing commodity market fundamentals, preferably in LNG, gas, or power markets.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating complex analyses into clear narratives.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills in cross-functional environments.
- Solid understanding of commercial disciplines and market activities, with the ability to utilize decision analysis tools effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, high-pressure, and fast-paced environment.
