Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a results-driven mindset, demonstrating a robust capability for meeting projected objectives, engaging in strategic negotiations, and aligning customer process challenges with intricate measurement and analytical inspection techniques utilized in the micro-electronics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships through diverse strategies while meticulously maintaining account records within the company’s CRM system.
  • Develop and present sales proposals, engaging with key decision-makers to ensure alignment with their needs.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with new clients and provide comprehensive meeting reports for assigned territories and strategic accounts.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle from initial inquiry through to final acceptance and payment, which includes quoting, sample provision, negotiations, order confirmations, and coordinating delivery and payment terms.
  • Regularly meet with direct supervisors to assess sales activities, the status of potential clients, strategies to achieve sales targets, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Plan quarterly sales initiatives with input from supervisors to meet sales objectives and travel commitments.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of trade shows alongside other members of the Account Management team.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in sales planning, forecasting, and strategic account management.
  • Proficiency in product demonstrations and group presentations.
  • Strong negotiation skills with customers and vendors to maximize profitability while managing risk.
  • Effective coordination of information, terms, and communication between clients and partner organizations.
  • Organized management of records within a current CRM platform.
  • Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently.
  • Professional demeanor in client interactions, particularly in responding to inquiries via various communication channels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
  • Experience in technical sales.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Material Science, Physics, or 3-5 years of relevant experience in material science, technical sales, and customer relationship management.

Additional Information:

  • Travel requirement: 25%.
  • Japanese language proficiency in reading and writing is necessary.
  • This is a hybrid position after an initial period.
