Nextonic Solutions LLC is on the lookout for a Program Manager in Scientific Research to enhance our dynamic team, contributing to pivotal initiatives in the scientific community.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering support services aimed at achieving the operational goals of our scientific programs. The primary focus will be on providing essential services and outputs through effective project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project documentation, ensuring comprehensive oversight of resources and budgets; gather, analyze, and interpret data; prepare detailed summaries and reports for team evaluation.

Specific Duties:

  • Offer expertise in epidemiology for significant research studies, including study design, operational execution, and data collection methodologies.
  • Engage in various phases of research projects, contributing to planning, decision-making, and strategic evaluations.
  • Lead efforts in analyzing and interpreting research data, producing analytical reports and publications.
  • Provide technical guidance in data collection processes and statistical analysis of complex datasets.
  • Coordinate workgroups, facilitating discussions and revisions among team members and stakeholders.
  • Communicate research outcomes effectively, disseminating findings and responding to inquiries.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and summaries for team assessment.
  • Conduct literature reviews and collaborate on scientific publications.
  • Foster collaboration with other research institutions and agencies.
  • Stay informed on advancements in relevant scientific fields and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in large-scale epidemiological research and complex data analysis.
  • Knowledge of medical and health services.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, Stata, R, and/or Mplus.

Skills:

  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, including longitudinal and mixed-methods research.
  • In-depth understanding of tobacco use epidemiology and current research trends.
  • Strong publication record relevant to experience.
  • Experience in designing studies and applying statistical methods.
