JOB TITLE: Cage & Credit Operations Specialist

Job Overview: The Cage & Credit Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with Title 31 regulations while delivering exceptional guest service. This position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to assist guests with various inquiries related to cage, credit, and marketing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and cash various types of checks for guests in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the designated computer system.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and ensure accurate data entry for all transactions.
  • Conduct essential ACSC transactions, including Markers, Front Money, Payments, Guest Sign Ups, and Credit applications.
  • Balance cash drawers and banks at the end of each shift.
  • Handle cash, chips, and promotional items, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Facilitate the redemption of chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in ticket out), and Race and Sports tickets.
  • Process various foreign currencies as required.
  • Manage employee issued banks and Kiosk functionalities as needed.
  • Document and secure all recordable transactions involving company assets.
  • Provide general information and assistance to patrons upon request.
  • Execute drop and count procedures in compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.
  • Master all window functionalities within both the main and satellite cage.
  • Assist with daily credit processes and perform bank verifications on credit applications.
  • Ensure accuracy in credit applications and obtain additional information as necessary.
  • Store all credit documents electronically in accordance with standards.
  • Maintain daily logs and remark accounts as needed.
  • Deliver the highest level of service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure accuracy in markers, returns, and write-offs.
  • Provide credit information to authorized inquiring casinos.
  • Document and file information per departmental procedures.
  • Answer phones and perform additional related duties as assigned.
  • Work across various positions/stations as assigned (e.g., Front Window, Main Bank, Credit Window, etc.).
  • Enroll new members and explain the benefits of the loyalty program.
  • Input player information into the database and issue Loyalty Club cards.
  • Evaluate member play and issue comps based on established guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One (1) year of experience in a casino cage or credit role is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to foster effective working relationships.
  • Experience in a luxury Gaming or Hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Intermediate to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven conflict resolution skills with guests.
  • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required prior to employment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
