About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at Bank of George. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our lending activities by analyzing credit information, underwriting loans, and promoting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze credit information and underwriting on current and potential borrowers to determine creditworthiness.
  • Assist Business Relationship Officers in gathering data from customers, internal and outside sources, and preparing financial information.
  • Order credit reports, research credit inquiries and UCC filings, and ensure collateral positioning is achieved.
  • Perform asset verification, research assessor records, and complete Credit Approval Memorandums for review and approval.
  • Develop knowledge of financial industry trends, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors, and competition.
  • Communicate with borrowers to follow-up on financial packages and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of lending products and services, related state and federal laws and regulations, and other related policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
