The Role of Superintendent:

As a Superintendent with a focus on Heavy Civil projects, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing various construction initiatives, each with a value of up to $40 million. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. You will coordinate teams, communicate with senior management and clients, and provide regular updates on project status.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing multiple ongoing projects in the Heavy Civil construction domain, including Site Development, Excavation, Earthmoving, Utility, Highway, and Concrete work.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients and executive management to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Organizing and distributing construction documentation, such as plans, specifications, RFIs, blueprints, and field reports, to all project stakeholders.
  • Participating in regular meetings with clients, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues.
  • Exhibiting strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction, with a proven track record of managing similar projects.
  • Experience in site development and heavy earthmoving operations.
  • Strong communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.
