As a Project Engineering Intern, you will engage in various aspects of engineering, including Field Engineering (mechanical or civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, Finance/Accounting, and Equipment/Maintenance. You will assist Project Managers and Superintendents on designated projects, working under direct supervision while receiving mentorship. Your responsibilities will include routine daily tasks and the collection and dissemination of information.

During your internship, you may have the chance to coordinate project activities with guidance from the Project and/or Operations Manager, assist with accounting tasks, perform estimating functions as needed, and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications for Project Engineering Intern:
• Understanding of fundamental phases of construction projects;

• Proficiency in mathematical functions (geometry, basic algebra);

• Computer literacy (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc.);

• Ability to execute tasks in a timely, professional, and efficient manner while effectively communicating with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders;

• Capability to present information clearly and understandably in both written and verbal formats;

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
