About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Insights Analyst to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the poultry industry, where you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Work closely with senior leaders and other stakeholders to diagnose business opportunities, identify strategic initiatives, and set priorities.
    • Create a pipeline of opportunities for stakeholders aligned with their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and company goals.
  • Deliverables
    • Produce regular weekly and monthly insights reports and analysis.
    • Analyze consumer data and point of sale data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer needs to identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine brand positioning, strategies, and ensure alignment with consumer insights.
    • Track brand performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand market and competitive strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and provide actionable assessments and recommendations.
    • Provide intelligence and consultative guidance for brand strategy, product positioning, marketing mix effectiveness, and new product development for marketing teams.
    • Develop and execute brand research to assess the effectiveness of our brand identity, positioning, and messaging.
    • Present insights to customers and stakeholders as needed.
  • Market Intelligence Process
    • Manage our market information database, manage multiple data sources, build dashboards, platforms, and automate processes to provide continuous support to enhance Market Intelligence program.
    • Prepare primary and secondary market research with internal and external key partners.
    • Develop communication devices (reports, forums, webinars, meetings, etc.) and routines to share actionable intelligence with audiences in a timely manner.
    • Propose proactive routines and rituals to help develop market opportunities.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Experience with analytics and insights.
    • Experience using IRI, Nielsen, or other POS data sources.
    • Excellent communication, networking, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience with primary and secondary research tools.
    • Hands-on experience with primary research techniques and design process.
    • Strong analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Organized and strong planner.
    • Research mindset with the ability to communicate and present insights to a non-technical audience.
    • Knowledge of marketing tools and methodologies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with pulling data from various data sources.
    • Good understanding of how to properly display data.
    • Understanding of reporting tools and concepts.
  • Desirable
    • Background working in the CPG or agriculture industry.
    • Experience using IRI, Nielsen, or other POS data sources.
    • Digital marketing and analytics experience.
