Job Summary

The Staff Accountant is a key member of our team at Richmark Property Management, responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our real estate properties and corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as cash receipts and bank deposits.
  • Assist with the preparation of common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and provide financial insights to management.
  • Support the processing of payroll and payroll journal entries.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least two years of general accounting experience, with a preference for experience in real estate property accounting.
