Training Specialist Opportunity

Addison Group's client is a mid-size healthcare non-profit based in the Philadelphia, PA area, seeking a skilled Training Specialist to join their team. This is a permanent role with a salary up to $50,000 based upon experience.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of training/teaching experience and be responsible for training new hires, implementing training activities, evaluating performance, and increasing employee retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, organize, plan, present, and manage various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training.
  • Develop innovative learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides, and lesson plans.
  • Lead training and development programming in various settings, including in-person, virtual, and non-classroom spaces.
  • Conduct training based on requirements set forth by regulatory bodies to ensure employees know how to conduct their jobs in alignment with requirements and maintain compliance.
  • Assist with analysis of training effectiveness in terms of employee accomplishments and performance, and update programs to increase quality of impact.
  • Identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
  • Evaluate and update standard operating procedures for learning and development processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' of experience
  • Ideally experience in teaching, healthcare, insurance, etc.
  • BS/BA in a related field of study
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
